About Your Guide

I’m Dr Efi, a clinical psychologist and amateur bodybuilding bikini competitor.

I started bodybuilding in late 2020 and competed in my first show in 2021. It’s been absolutely life changing for me and I love it!

Having been on my own bodybuilding journey and competing in it, I know what it’s like to push your body and mind to achieve a goal not many can understand, and to do so while having other demands and priorities in your life.

I am here to show you how when you connect what really matters to you deep within, to your competing goal, it becomes non-negotiable and the journey to the stage is more empowering and fulfilling.

I am obsessed with the interplay between the mind and body and how you can achieve incredible changes in your strength and physique accessing the powerful potential of your mind.

I can’t wait to help you achieve your goal of getting to the stage through a mentally healthy, enjoyable, and fulfilling journey, and then build a positive relationship with your body, food, and yourself post show.

For sure!

I am not a bodybuilding coach or nutritionist. Your bodybuilding coach can help keep you accountable but they can’t teach you mindset tools or provide guidance for mental health.

My sole focus is in utilising the power of your mind and psychological tools to help you get through your prep journey in a mentally healthy and fulfilling way, and in turn, bring out your best to the stage, and to then help you navigate the post show phase with valuable insights and tools to support your wellbeing.

No, this course is applicable to all competitors of any gender or bodybuilding division.

There are 3 masterclasses in total and each one is 35-45 minutes. As it is self-paced, you don’t have to listen to all of them in one go and can revisit them as needed.

The strategies provided are practical and can be easily integrated into your daily routine. You will however need to prioritise these and put time aside (10-20 minutes) for reflection and when completing the worksheets.

The beauty of what you’ll learn here is that these will be useful skills for life beyond the stage.

This course is not a substitute for therapy or professional treatment for eating disorders or mental health conditions. While it provides tools to support mental wellbeing, if you’re struggling with these issues, I strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified mental health professional or you can learn more about working with me 1:1 here.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail me on hello@thebodybuildingpsychologist.com, otherwise…

I look forward to seeing you inside!
